Children's Room Information

The Fall River Public Library Children's Room is open during regular library hours and serves infants through eighth graders with a variety of programs, books, audio books, movies, music, book kits, puzzles, toys, games, comics/graphic novels, magazines, and reference resources. Curbside Crafts

We offer a weekly selection of take-home children's craft kits! Each kit includes all material needed to make the craft, plus instructions on how to put it together. Weekly crafts are listed on our Facebook page and calendar. Call the Children's Room to reserve your craft for curbside pickup, or schedule a visit to the Children's Room to pick it up.

 

Book Bundles

Not sure exactly what you want? Let us be your personal book shoppers! We'll choose 5 chapter books or 10 picture books based on your tastes. Fill out the online form and tell us what you like, or call 508-324-2700, ext. 4 (children's). We'll create a book bundle you can pick up.

TumbleBooks

TumbleBooks has print, audio, and video resources for kids of all ages, from picture books through middle-grade chapter books. Children can improve reading skills with read-alongs, reading the text of a book while also hearing it read aloud to them. Educational videos, books in French and Spanish, and learning games are also included.
