Museum passes offer either free or reduced-price admission to nearby museums, aquariums, and zoos. You can borrow passes with your library card. Some are e-passes that provide a discount code; others are physical passes that must be returned. Our Tixkeeper page provides detailed information and web links for each venue.
Use Tixkeeper to search available passes, view pass information, and reserve a pass. You can also call 508-324-2700, ext. 2, during normal library hours to reserve a pass.
Please note that, due to the coronavirus, some museums are not accepting passes. Others may have limited hours or visitor restrictions. We recommend calling before your visit. Museum hours and contact information are listed in Tixkeeper.
New England Aquarium requires proof of vaccination in order to visit, effective January 15, 2022. Complete details can be found on the aquarium's web page. The Museum of Science is also requiring proof of vaccination for all visitors age 12 and older. Please visit the Museum's Code of Conduct page for the most up-to-date information on COVID-19 vaccine and mask requirements: https://www.mos.org/visit/code-of-conduct.
Some libraries in the SAILS network allow patrons to borrow passes, even if you are not a patron of that library. Here is a list of SAILS libraries and passes they offer. Always call the library to make sure the information is up to date.
